This winter Puppia offers more selection on winter harnesses to keep our pooches chest warm. Puppia Pastel harness, Puppia Checked harness, Puppia Mustang harness, Puppia Zebra harness, Puppia Houndstooth harness, and Puppia Deluxe harness. A warm and cozy layer of fleece or faux fur fabrics are hand-sewed to all Puppia winter harnesses.

Be sure to place the order in advance if you planning to get Puppia winter harness, sweater, and coat for your beloved pooches. Like last year, Puppia produces limited quantity on their winter products. Once it is sold out, you have to wait until next year winter season.

Normally by mid-Nov or early Dec, majority of Puppia winter products are sold out. There are only few left in stock. Therefore, we recommend customers not to wait until the last minute to place the order.

Puppia Vest great choice for lot of reasons

If you have dogs that are pullers or easily escape from harness, you should consider getting a Puppia VEST instead. Puppia vest's design is much harder for dogs to escape.

Puppia soft vest has a safety belt on the upper back connected to a double D-rings for leash, and Velcro cover on the lower back. The vest is the answer for dogs that like pulling or escaping from harness. It is also an answer for dogs that fit between soft harness sizes.

If you're planning to get a new harness for the pet sitter to walk your dog while you and your family going for vacation, you should get a Puppia vest. The vest is way much easier putting on and gives better control to the handler who walks the dog.

The sizes of Puppia vest are based on Puppia clothes line sizing. Perry wore medium soft harness, but he wore large vest. Be sure to check careful to find the right size chart and measure your pooch before placing an order.

Recently, a lot of customers contact our store inquire another harness which many think Puppia has created a new line of soft harness with different logo.

The truth is if you currently own one of those new soft harness without "Puppia" logo, you have bought a counterfeit harness for your dog. That's right, you purchased a fake one for your pooch.

It is like authentic Coach handbag. A genuine Coach handbags cost more but it makes with better quality and it last longer. A replicate Coach is much cheaper as it is shoddy made.

Puppia does not have XXLarge soft harness available to the public yet due to safety concern. The President of Puppia loves the four paws royalty as much as we do. The manufacturer, designers, and production team will not sell XXLarge soft harness until it meets the higher standard of Puppia always sought for - Safety first and follows with comfort to our four paws prince and princess.

How do you know if you have a fake Puppia harness? Always check the logo on the harness. If you see harness image and design seems like Puppia but with a different logo, it is a red flag the harness is fake - not Puppia harness. The manufacturer is aware of the product image being stolen and used with Puppia reputable name. They are working diligently to get this issue taken care of. If you see a store selling both Puppia authentic harness and Puppia wanna be, you know there is a possibility that you are getting a replicate.

How to wear Puppia soft harness from A - Z?

Many customers ask before what is the correct way to wear Puppia harness. We decided to use pictures on demonstrating how to wear Puppia harness. We also provide step by step photo guide for new Puppia harness owner.

Please take a look at Figure A and B above. Do you notice the differences between them? Are you able to tell which dog model wears the harness correctly? If you choose B, you are right.

On Figure A, the harness is wearing on the dog's back. The Puppia harness logo and pattern should not be facing on the dog's back. No matter what size, it will never fit if the logo and pattern face up on the dog's back. When the harness is being wore incorrectly, it will not fit our dog until we put the harness on the right way.

On Figure B, the harness logo is facing outward on the dog chest. This is the correct way to wear the harness. The "D" hook ring should be on the dog's back as it is for owner to attach the leash.

Puppia harness should feel comfortably like wearing a T-shirt. The harness should be hanging on the dog shoulder. It is the same as us wear a T-shirt or Polo shirt. It shouldn't be like wearing a dog collar or turtle neck.

Please take a look on Figure C and D pictures. Are you able to tell what is wrong with Figure C? If you say it is wearing incorrectly. You score 100 points. No matter what, the soft harness logo and harness pattern should not be facing up from the dog's back.

Before putting the harness on the pooch, we should adjust the belt accordingly. First, measure the dog chest. Then adjust the harness belt. This extra step helps eliminating the stress on you and your pooch.

Remember when selecting the harness size, be sure not to base on the dog weight. Weight is not an accurate way to choose the harness. Each dog and the breed body structure is different. It is very important to measure the head, neck, chest, and girth. The harness must be able to go through the head first. Some of the breed head is bigger than the neck. Therefore, it is very important when choosing the harness size, it should always be based on the dog body measurement.

This is a question that we're always being asked. What kind of Puppia harness should I buy for my kitties, puppies, rabbits and etc? The answer is highly depends on if your pets feel comfortable to have the harness go over their head or not. If they don't, you should select a vest for your pets as it does not required go through their head to wear it.

Puppia soft harness and Puppia soft vest material are the same. The only differences is Puppia soft harness required going through the head to wear it, but Puppia soft "vest" harness does not. Puppia soft vest wears between animal's arms only, similar to us wear a vest. See above pictures.

Does he wear Puppia soft harness? or Does he wear Puppia Soft Vest?

Answer:
Perry wears both Puppia soft harness and Puppia Soft Vest.
The little guy uses Puppia soft harness during summer time and when the weather is warm.
In winter or during cold weather, he has to use Puppia soft vest.
Cleanliness is very important in our household.
So, he has an extra one on each. When one is being cleaned, he has another one can be used.

During summer or hot weather, he does not need extra protection to keep him warm. Therefore, he wears Puppia Soft harness during hot weather and in the summer.

In winter, it is a different ball game as he is no longer young anymore. Arthritis and bone pain due to cold weather is a major issue in this little guy golden years. It is very uncomfortable for him to wear clothes and harness over the neck repeatedly. When he wears clothes inside to keep him warm during winter, he wears the Puppia soft vest outside. It goes through his short arms instead of go over the head again.
